Dorset Wedding Photographer- Rosanna and Will, Shaftesbury

Document the day from a family member/guests pov, from the inside, not standing around on the outside, this is something that twirls around my head all day when photographing a wedding. To capture the real moments, the emotions, the energy of the day, a challenge that every photographer goes through.

Of course it helps when you are greeted with open arms by everyone at the wedding, made to feel just like another guest, just as Rosanna and Will did when we arrived on the morning of their wedding, in beautiful Dorset, this is always one of my favourite places to visit.

The wedding took place at Rosanna’s family home, surrounded by beautiful countryside. I love how the wedding location just becomes another character of the story, this is especially evident when it holds such a personal connection to the couple, really adding to the emotional content of the day.
Yes it did rain, actually it was some of the heaviest summer rain I have witnessed at a wedding, did it dampen spirits, absolutely not!! It just added another layer to the day, and by the evening it had completely cleared to leave behind one of those take your breath away golden hours.

We wrapped up the day hitting the dance floor with everyone and gettin’ down with the band, who by the way rocked the party from beginning to end.
