Chiddingstone Castle Wedding Photographer- Amelia and David, Chiddingstone, Kent

It has been such a pleasure getting to know Amelia and David over this past year. From meeting them for the first time for their pre wed shoot, to photographing and being a part of their wedding day, it has been a joy from the get go.

Their wedding was at Chiddingstone Castle, a venue that will always hold a special place in my heart, as I also got married there, so getting to photograph at Chiddingstone hits a little different.

September is a favourite time of year to shoot, still quite warm, some nice sunshine, with perhaps the odd rain shower to keep us on our toes, which is exactly how Amelia and David’s wedding played out.

One of the things I love about being a part of someone’s wedding, is the other suppliers I get to meet. It was great getting to work alongside The Wedding Dolls, and Harvey from Meros Productions (always beautiful chaos).

So going into 2026, this is my 12th year now photographing weddings full time, Amelia and David’s wedding is the perfect example of why I carry on doing this, being made to feel so welcome on the day, just like a friend invited to the wedding, the heartfelt moments I get to capture, and the story I get to tell, it’s the best gift.
